Peri-Menopause & Menopause Support

Each workshop offers a blend of education, connection, and empowerment

Delivered in partnership with Recovery College, these sessions are free to attend and are designed to feel approachable, inclusive, and empowering no medical jargon, no judgment, just real conversations and helpful guidance.

Whether you’re just starting to notice changes or are further along in your journey, this workshop will leave you feeling more informed, more in control, and more like yourself again.

Upcoming Sessions

Workshops take place across local community venues, including:

  • Whitehaven - 16th of April 10am - 12noon St James’ Community Centre, High Street,  CA28 7PY

  • Workington - 17th April 2:00pm - 4:00pm Northside Community Centre, Trinity Dr, Workington CA14 1AX

Peri-Menopause & Menopause Support

The Best Way to Glow!

The Best Way to Glow Workshop, brings together expert-led support for women navigating peri/menopause and menopause. 

The core workshop content will be delivered by Lynsey of Dandelion Coaching, an accredited menopause coach, providing practical, evidence-based guidance to help women better understand and support their changing bodies and minds.

This will be complemented by guest sessions, including Hilary’s expertise in skin health, and specialist guidance from Louise, a strength coach offering practical strategies to support physical strength, confidence, and overall wellbeing.

Together, this collaborative approach provides women with a holistic, supportive, and empowering experience, equipping them with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to recharge their energy and glow from the inside out.

No prior knowledge needed. No judgments. Just honest, expert advice and practical steps to feel more like you again.

Our A–Z of Menopause is a quick, accessible guide designed to support and empower anyone navigating perimenopause and menopause. While not a medical resource, it offers a valuable starting point—providing straightforward information on menopause, its impact, and practical strategies that can help.

Created in partnership with Healthwatch Cumberland, this guide is part of our wider Mental Health in Menopause project. We're incredibly proud of this collaboration and grateful to Suzanna and Chloe from Healthwatch for their dedication in bringing it to life.

The A–Z is designed to spark conversations, raise awareness, and foster understanding—at home, in the workplace, and in the wider community. Whether you’re experiencing menopause yourself, supporting a loved one, or leading a team at work, this resource is a step toward a more informed and compassionate approach.

To bring together two of my greatest passions—menopause and mental health I’ve created this free downloadable guide in support of Carlisle Eden Mind.

Carlisle Eden Mind is a fantastic charity doing vital work to support individuals facing mental health challenges. For many women, the emotional and psychological symptoms of menopause can feel overwhelming sometimes even more difficult than the physical changes. This guide is here to offer gentle guidance, tips, and encouragement to help you care for your emotional wellbeing through this transition.

Celebrating Menopause Awareness Day

We were thrilled to host our very first HRT Party in partnership with Healthwatch Cumberland in honour of Menopause Awareness Day!

This uplifting event brought women together to celebrate, connect, and learn empowering, supportive knowledge about menopause in a relaxed and welcoming space.

 

With plenty of laughter, honest conversation, and expert insights, the day was all about breaking taboos, sharing experiences, and making sure no woman feels alone on her menopause journey. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us – here’s to more open conversations and stronger support for women’s health

Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service

We were proud to deliver a tailored Menopause Awareness Session for Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service – a powerful step towards creating a more informed, inclusive, and supportive workplace for everyone.

The session offered practical knowledge, space for open discussion, and a deeper understanding of how menopause can affect individuals both at work and at home. It was fantastic to see such positive engagement from the team, with thoughtful questions and a real commitment to supporting colleagues with compassion and confidence.

Thank you to everyone who took part – together we’re breaking down stigma and building stronger workplace wellbeing for all.
